Bob Bain founded the business more than 50 years ago. He was the skipper of the famous North East fishing boat Spes Clara before transitioning from skipper to fishmonger—a tradition that has been passed down through the generations.
Ian Clark later took over operations and successfully expanded the business year after year, becoming a well-known wholesale seafood supplier in Scotland. He then handed the reins to his sons, and now the business continues with his grandchildren.
Today, Clark Seafoods takes great pride in its rich heritage and decades of dedicated service. We supply a range of establishments, both local and nationwide, including restaurants, hotels, chip shops, caterers, retailers, and more. Based in Buckie, a North East Scotland fishing village, we have access to the freshest seafood at our fingertips daily.
